SIX60 at Eden Park, a Room One Live broadcast

Room One is the room we sit in.

Our crew is a team of full-stack engineers, broadcast engineers, a network architect, an AI specialist and an audio engineer. We look for kit that is proven and still new, and for ways to get the show out safely. Traditional broadcast is still the job. We just stay ahead of the tech.

We don't just point the camera and make things work. We are here to solve your problems, and to get the idea on air.

Questions we get.

What does Room One Live do?

Room One Live is a live broadcast and event production company based in Auckland, New Zealand. We deliver multi-camera coverage, live graphics and data, streaming and network, and technical integration for sport, music and esports, run as one system by one crew.

Where is Room One Live based?

We are based in Newmarket, Auckland, and work across New Zealand. We also deliver international broadcasts using a cloud production stack, which often needs only a light crew on the ground.

How far ahead should we book?

For multi-camera events, four to eight weeks lets us design and test properly. Smaller streams can move faster. If it is urgent, ask; we have turned shows around in days when the scope allowed.

What size events do you cover?

From a single-camera club stream to a 10-camera stadium broadcast with global distribution. The system is designed per show, so you pay for the layers your event actually needs.

Which platforms can you stream to?

Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, TikTok Live, broadcast handoff to networks like TVNZ or Stuff Play, and custom endpoints, simultaneously where needed.

What happens if something fails mid-show?

Redundancy is designed in before show day: backup encoders, dual network paths and tested failovers. The audience should never know a failover happened. That is the standard we build to.

Do you travel outside Auckland?

Yes. We have delivered shows across New Zealand and internationally, and our cloud production stack means many global jobs need only a light crew on the ground.

How is pricing structured?

Per show, based on the technical layers involved: cameras, graphics, streaming, network and crew. You get a fixed quote after the brief, not an hourly surprise.
