Process

Brief to broadcast

01

Brief and
scope

What the event is, who watches it, where it needs to land. We size the system to the show, not the other way round.

02

Technical
design

Camera plan, signal flow, network paths, redundancy. Drawn, checked and shared before anything loads into a van.

03

Build and
test

Rig, patch, test every chain end to end. A broadcast proven before doors open is the only kind we send live.

04

Live
execution

Show day. Directed cameras, live graphics, monitored streams and comms until the last frame is out.

Live is a different discipline. There is no render queue and no second take; the show either goes out clean or it doesn’t.

01

Camera

Directed, switched
and replayed live.

Single operator to 10-camera outside broadcast in Auckland. Camera plans built for the show, not a kit list.

Graphics

Scoreboards, overlays
and data, keyed into
the program feed.

Live broadcast graphics keyed into the cut: scorebugs, sponsor loops, lower thirds and real-time data.

at low latency.
